“70 Yetmemiş” would be the name of Dad’s memoirs,if he could be able to finish it so it could be published. Bülent Bozdag was one of the delicate,refined gentlemen of Istanbul. In detailed pictures you can see the pieces of his foulards, neckties, cuff links,handkerchiefs and pijamas.The antique pieces inside of the quilt and on the borders belong to my family.

Crazy technique,shadow applique was used.Hand pieced,hand quilted. The quilt was exhibited at many local shows but never entered to any competition .

One of our Art Class members Nilgün Üstünel had her first exhibition at our new studio.

We have moved to our new studio in July 2006. During the summer break with my assistant Nilgun Tufekci we have done the decoration of the studio with various quilting techniques. We managed to create quite a peaceful atmosphere after all our efforts. Hopefully this will get reflected in our success with international exhibitions!

We have monthly courses to enrich our patchwork projects such as ribbon embroidery (by instructor Mrs.Tulin Alacaatli ) and Russian punch needle embroidery by myself.

Ten of our members were awarded a certificate as a result of completing their basic education.
