Four of our quilts were invited to be displayed at the exhibition “Infinity” in Chateau Sainte Rosaline-France

“Always” and “Memories” were published in the catalogue.

One of our Art Class members Nilgun Ustunel had her first exhibition at our new studio.

We have moved to our new studio in July 2006. During the summer break with my assistant Nilgun Tufekci we have done the decoration of the studio with various quilting techniques. We managed to create quite a peaceful atmosphere after all our efforts. Hopefully this will get reflected in our success with international exhibitions!

We have monthly courses to enrich our patchwork projects such as ribbon embroidery (by instructor Mrs.Tulin Alacaatli ) and Russian punch needle embroidery by myself.

Ten of our members were awarded a certificate as a result of completing their basic education.

The president of the Art Quilts Foundation Mr.Simon Prins invited me to Birmingham to the quilt show “Festival of Quilts” with some of our award winning quilts.
