I was inspired of the original mosaic of Love’s God Eros and tried to make the quilt of the mosaic five years ago.
The original mosaics were found under the Firat river in Gaziantep city.The ancient city was called Belkis/Zeugma.

I was invited to a panel held in Gazi University on 15 th of April 2009.The panel was about women employment.
This prayer mat is hung on the wall of my studio. It was made by my grandmother almost a hundred years ago. The puffs were filled with hundred percent cotton that she grew and the traits used were also made by her from the cocoons she had. I am grateful to my grandmother for leaving the heritage to me out of all grand children she had.

Our annual lunch was held in Daphne Restaurant on Feb 28th 2009. Members enjoyed tasting the traditional cuisine of Antakya accompanied with Yusuf’s live music.
